It would be awesome if CE can edit TCP and UDP packets with some script language, like redox packet editor do. but rpe dont work with udp (((

now only 2 software can edit packets - WPE and RPE. WPE not so good cause u can only use filters.. no logic and algorythm.. rpe have delphi language editor, so u can make what u want with packets.

Easily enough done with a plugin
Just hook the packet api and pas them on to ce's lua engine from where the user can write any filter or more complex handling it needs

Here is a higher level packeteditor plugin for ce (5.x based, before lua)

http://code.google.com/p/cheat-engine/source/browse/#svn%2Fbranches%2FCheat%20Engine%20Old%2Fplugin%2Fpacket%20editor%2Fsrc%253Fstate%253Dclosed

And an example of logging an api call: http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=530032 (adapt to the winsock api yourself)

And the d3dhook in ce 6.2 has a nice example of a dll that waits for a lua script to finish

the word "network" sounds to me like multiplayer cheating.
