Then windows wouldn't load, i got that grub rescue thing
Followed a tut on internets and fucked it up even more, now i just get some grub prompt when i boot up
wat do

boot up with your windows dvd
go into rescue mode
do a mbr/bootsector restore
done

Rescue your files and gtfo, reinstall.
It will be faster anyway.

Yes because it formats it to a bootable type, even if it is already.
At least if you're using a wizard tool.
