| Shit, then you definitely should have resold for a profit. You could get 10 used GBPs in fine condition for the price of one new one.

I could be a douche bag and re package it as i still got everything including the sticker to seal the box... and re sell, but when I first purchased this i was not thinking of re selling it anyways. | You could probably still sell it for a big premium if you explained that you opened it, but then put it back and it's still in pristine condition.
Or you could buy a replacement screen, clean it up really well, and sell it for 300 or 400 bucks. If there are no noticeable defects on the body, why not?

current screen is 100% condition, no scratches no nothing. body is 100% as i always put back into plastic package when not using. | You know what? Why the fuck not? Just pack it up really carefully, and then buy another used one. Mine is in very good condition, as you can see in the picture, and it's just as enjoyable to play as a brand new one.
300 bucks buy it now, you'll get rid of it in no time.

My initial plan was to buy a gameboy pocket used on ebay. I noticed a auction for a mint pocket for 60 usd. I bid and won. Now that I own a mint pocket, i plan on keeping it forever and preserving its quality. I fully understand that I could of re sold for such a higher value, but I always wanted to play my red on a mint pocket along side other many games.
Plus once a mint is opened, it is considered used and brought down to its shitty price no matter how great of the quality.
I plan on using this pocket till I die and I could at least have those "br4agging" rights that I owned a mint and most likely will always own a great condition due to my carefulness of using the gameboy. | Alright, that is fair enough.
On a somewhat related note, it's funny how people are selling pokemon red for literally more than I can buy a new gameboy for. I have blue (for 10 years or so), and I would like to buy red, but it's just ridiculously expensive. I think I need to find a copy in a store.

What grinds my gears is when people sell Pokemon games on ebay and write "RARE GAME BUY QUICK" when in fact Pokemon games are the #2 piss easy to find abundant game for the gameboy, only surpassed by Tetris (which people also claim to be "rare").
The best mario game for the gameboy is mario land 2. It's the spiritual successor to super mario world imo.
