You should like, worry about it dude. Spontaneous small updates to steam games like never happen without patch notes.

......................................Yes Valve or any organization affiliated with them mill mass infect users with malicious software. It's not like that would get them in trouble or anything. Honestly that's like saying getting a Windows update comes with banking trojans on occasion.

Huge software conglomerates like Microsoft and Google are known to steal your personal information and sell it to advertisers. Do you seriously think they don't infect your PC, and that Valve is somehow morally above making money?

That sounds really clever, actually.
