Look at that price. Look at the price for nearly any professional development tool(*). Artists think they suffer for their art, our wallets suffer for ours.
*: I don't mean APIs and such by this, and some notable exceptions are Compilers for open source systems, servers (Apache, Nginx, Lighttpd) and open source operating systems.

| Honestly man, what do you even code in? Any notable scripts/programs or anything you have released? You have a portfolio? I have seen most all of the other people here who talk about coding post stuff. But I don't recall seeing code from you.

I really have no opinion yet, just asking to see proof. Only things I remember from him are talking about some squad coding thing. Now that I think about it he also had a group on Cris' forum a while back that didn't really do anything and was deleted shortly after it's creation.

Shrooms is actually right here. I tend to work with other people on their own programs, instead of work on anything necessarily mine. I only started working on personal projects around last year, and Im still working on them. To be completely honest, I tend to prefer theory and a few interesting problems to building a whole program. Eitherway, the reason that the Criss forum group was deleted was because most people there don't code and because of poor politics between Cris and Divien. SquadCoding was also more for giving a people a place to work from than any particular coding reason. I used it when I did a bit of AJAX and MySQL (before I even knew the theory behind relational databases).
Also I am hardly the greatest coder ever, Innovation can code circles around me Im quite sure, not to mention DarkByte, Slugsnack or plenty others.
P.S.: The tool was to manage requirements for a personal project IM handling, but I am not following the SCRUM (or any Agile) methodology.

Have I used (not necessarily that I remember)?
Python 2.4, Java (5.x), AJAX (lol no versions), JS (by extention of AJAX), MySQL, C, C with Objects (C++ here, not C sharp or Objective-C), Prolog (shout out to my homies in Section 8), Scheme (purely academic, though made me curious as to Haskell), Ruby 1.9 (still the most elegant language I know). May be a couple more, but thats about it for now. Also note that I wrote used, and not mastered. Id say the ones I ever bothered to use to a large extent were C and Ruby, but even then I would not go as far as mastered.
P.S.: Forgot Actionscript 3.0.
P.S.: Also used PHP 4 for like, a single project.
