We are an evolving species, so to answer the question why we do what we do: to further our evolution into what we believe is our perfect form. Until that time we're nothing but imperfections getting better and better as time goes by. There is no real reason for our existence, we just came to be and keep evolving. Our purpose? I'd say perfection.

The complexity of society now annoys me and I don't 100% understand how we got to this point, but there's no point in questioning it, it won't help anybody.
