| No... Oblivion MAYBE but you really should just jump into skyrim, it's not like the storylines make sense anyway. |

| Oblivion with DLC is a great game, in my opinion. Might disenchant you a bit from playing Skyrim straight after though. |

I don't plan on playing skyrim, I have heard too much bad stuff about it.
I have oblivion, but do not like it.
People tell me that Morrowind was the best, so I thought if I got farther into it, I would enjoy it more. |

| I think perhaps that this style of game is not for you then. |

Morrowind is my favorite game in the series, the combat is dated but still fun, the dialogue and atmosphere is what makes the game, If you can't enjoy a game just by walking around and talking to NPCs then Morrowind is not for you. Its the staple RPG, its no action/adventure game.
oh and if you do play just get the boots that make you blind to get everywhere faster |

| Oblivion isn't a bad game, but in the series I like Morrowind and Skyrim more, Better combat in skyrim, and better story/immersion in Morrowind, they both outperform Oblivion in some way, but it doesn't make it a bad game. |

imo, Skyrim was the funnest. Morrowind was by far the most creative and I often wonder why they didn't keep the Morrowind art direction.
And who in the shits made made you think Skyrim was a bad game? _________________

mindless tedious repetitive quests
go here do this talk to that kill that retrieve from there
experience! | That would be sidequests. There's only like 4 that repeat like that and they're there to grind gold/experience and stuff (not that you ever need to do that). If you're crazy enough to keep pursuing those quests after concluding that they're repetitive then that's your fault, not the game. _________________

And who in the shits made made you think Skyrim was a bad game? | Skyrim is only a bad game if you haven't played Morrowind and Oblivion, IMO. Because if you haven't, it just seems like a generic RPG with boring snow and dragons everywhere, its not very unique in its story alone, you are chosen one get powerful item and beat bad guy, the combat isn't too great Id rather play Dark/Demons souls for its combat and setting than Skyrim, and the characters are pretty forgettable, and everything is mountains.
But when backed up with context from morrowind & oblivion, getting the elder scroll itself is really fucking cool, and the fact that all the snow is there just north of morrowind which is this crazy swamp makes that cool and it shows the contrast and racial issues between the people which you are fond of from playing the previous 2 games (I haven't played TES 1&2, so Im sure that'd make it even better if you have) |
