Nah, he's not hostile. He just learns from my moms retarded little dog who's aggressive and thinks its tough shit. He's just imitating it. I blame the little dog for my dogs aggressiveness.
things like that would still fall under you having to tame and notice changes in behavior for the dog, though.

you have to really hope that the person's family would be willing to accept a sob story and real apologies, any fees from medical bills and everything, and the fact your dog might very well have to be leashed whenever outside, if they decide to not have it put to sleep.

One of the pros of not living in the city I suppose. I never have to put my dogs on their leash. Hell, I don't even think we still have both their leashes. They have a pretty sweet setup as far as going out goes. They go for a walk four times a day, and every afternoon, they get a half~hour walk through the forest to run/swim/play etc. I don't like my dogs, but I'm not one to deny them their small pleasures:

i hate these kind of people who let their dogs loose and not control them properly when outside.

You deserve what's coming to you, this should be the lesson for you to better tame and control your dog(s).

Yes, because you can play catch with a dog that's tied up.
or you could you know.. have a fucking fence? oh wait your place is too shitty and youre irresponsible because you get a pet that needs to run freely but dont have the space or proper set up to do so
you deserve your dog taken away, its better off dead
Oh yea I have the 400+ dollars to blow on a 1 acre fence and then buying a fucking building license from the money hungry shit town I live in. You're one hell of an ignorant fuck. Come back to the real world idiot.
he's being blunt about it, but for someone who lives in NY, you should know this already. NY state is very harsh on dogs, here on LI I *never* see any unleashed dogs on property that is not entirely fenced and all. dog is outside of fenced? it's on a leash. that's simply how the norm is for NY. also, for the towns ive been in, sidewalks are city property so you'd be in pretty deep shit for that.

for the pretty fucking obvious question that EVERYONE overlooked for some reason: why the fuck did you leave the dog unsupervised and unleashed while you went inside? even if just for a few minutes? it's not responsible. i'm sorry for your loss; ive had a dog shot by the police and many friends have had shit like that, it sucks, but you could have done more in retrospect. if everything works out fine, think about these things.

It wasn't unsupervised my mom was outside and he was with her. I live in a hick town where letting your dog run loose for 10 or 20 minutes isnt uncommon.

Also, Brolock shut the fuck up. You have no idea what you're talking about.
nice job defending yourself with an actual opinion instead of just bashing me and explaining nothing
oh wait.
