| You have to boot into the bios first and save it for the first time. Usually you are instructed to load Optimized defaults. Then on reboot it will bitch saying no OS found, and you click any key to boot disc.

| Basically it was because my old PC was sooooo old that I needed to reformat my drive with a new XP before I could even run it to set up my drivers. The hard drive was basically corrupted with old data.

Mine came with 4. I guess it just depends on the target of the motherboard. I guess 2 would be the standard because most people will only be installing a single drive and a single disk drive.
