the only file on the flash drive is the ISO
flsah drive is formatted as FAT

You have to make the flash drive bootable, just formatting in fat32 won't work. (also max size on files on fat32 is 4gb so you're fucked if your extraction exceeds that).

Easiest is if you download a win PE, burn it to a disc and fire it up, creating a flash boot disk from there.

Just used this on my friend's mom's laptop. Worked good. She's on windows 7 and her laptop runs much better than when it was vista. I also gave her 1gb more ram and x64 instead of x86.
