Humans as a species have actually fucked Earth up pretty badly - but nothing worse than it's been before (as in, before human kind). If we were to just stop changing it and the climate it would heal itself.

It's true, I read that if all the people in the world died tomorrow, most developments like farms and cities would revert back to forests and shit in a thousand years or so.

it would change but for the worse until it goes from worse to better. we totally fucked up the earth unless a invention to somehow take away all the air pollution and other fucked up shit, but thatch a dream. |
Take away all the air pollution and put it where? We'd be better off just leaving Earth (either by death or secret space program) and just letting it go. I've never watched the entire movie, but I do believe that this is what they did in Wall-E.
