Cheat Engine

And this has nothing to do with the number of my health showing up in the game.

So lately I have been playing the latest version of Diablo Hellfire: The Hell Mod and have been searching for the health address without any luck. I have used many methods including the tried and true changed health finding technique ( and this one seems to have been the most reliable so far!) to find this address. But to no avail. At the end of my search I usually do end up with only around ten addresses. But none of them are the same number as my health nor do they affect the health in any way ( I have tried freezing/NOPing them on several occasions.

SO, what I am humbly asking for is how to find god mode in a game like this (Diablo the Hell mod). I know this may lead to a very simple stupid answer and I admit I am very much a greenhorn working with cheat engine.But I have even tried Irwin's repost of Xor's tutorial on how to find god mode and have come up with no results. I ask for the wisdom of all fellow cheat engine users.Thank you!

Just type in Diablo The Hell Mod and the first site that pops up on google will lead you there.

First step: Disconnect from the internet. If you can't play the game, give up

Now, perhaps this game doesn't store health as health, but as damage taken, so an increased value when you get hit

If all else fails, try changed/unchanged scans

Also, have you tried different value types?

I took your advice and finally found the address for the changing of the health value, it seems.
If frozen whenever I take damage, my health stays at the same number.

But the really odd thing is that after a short time, if attacked enough times, I will still die.I know that this address affects the health in some way because if I'm constantly attacked I will survive much longer than if the value isn't frozen. But it just prolongs me from dying, as if there's another value I must change. Any suggestions?

Hey Zappa, did u manage to get the lifelock or manalock on with Cheat engine? could u guide me through it?
