I worked, didn't get home till 11:30. Made 188 bucks. Fuck you "Scales", It's like a truck inspection stop and we were 800lb's overweight on the back of the track so we had to unload like a quarter of the truck, wait for this motherfucker to come with another truck, and load it with this pakis furniture. Ffffffuuuuu I got paid to sit on my ass for three hours but when you start a job, and take a three hour break, it's hard to get back to work.

I feel ya man. Being an ex-mover myself those breaks feel oh so good, but then when you have to get back up after a 1~3 hour break in the move and you go back to work for 5~8 more hours ugh.
Dat early sleep for me.

are their scales in the US? they throw lights on, pull in so many trucks, check your liscense, how much weight you can pull, headlights,horn etc. Full inspection, if you're not upto par you get a fine or you don't leave until fixing the problem, in our case yesterday...had to unload 800lb's and re-scale the truck to see if we're good to go. Sucked balls waiting for the extra truck to come out

Yeah we have weigh stations. Plus cops pull truckers over randomly just to be dicks and random inspect the specs of the trucks.
