Ok enjoy spending $800 on something low-mid tier.

You're paying a fuck ton more for dual screens, get out of my thread.
Tbh if you built it in the long run it would cheaper for your parents since you won't be able to upgrade very much and your CPU will always be shit in comparison to your other shit which may bottleneck stuff especially TF2.

That's the best one I can find for the socket that motherboard has and that's a bit shit tbh.

Because people build laptops.

People can build laptops, and no, I was reffing to your computer thread; why not get the one screen?

Because two screens is much better. If I could get another screen right now with the money I have available to me I would, but I cannot.

I don't see a practical use, it's paying cash for additional multi-tasking. I can't build, but I might just be able to pay my uncle around $50 to put the pieces together; my mom would be fine with that.

Play games on left, have chats/forums/etc. open on right. There are a lot of practical uses.

Watch movie fullscreen and chat/browse internet
Or even play a game on one screen while streaming it to twitch or whatnot and having that chat open on the other screen.

But you can do that a little less efficiently with a single screen; I guess I'm just letting my opinion interfere with my sense.

Not really to be honest. If you have to concentrate on the game the alt+tab may make a big difference to paying attention.

My $1500 laptop plays TF2 at 500-700 FPS.

I'm saying, paying more gets you better results.
Don't fight laptops, they're more mobile, which is a necessity for people like myself. I play games everywhere I go, and I go a lot of places, spending the extra $900 for mobility is something I don't regret.

I'm not paying to play games on a laptop, if i need a laptop's "mobility" I buy a crap/lame laptop, exactly for what I need.

Other than that, paying for anything above 60+fps is already waste amirate?
