i5-2500k - $220
Crucial 4gb - $21
Radeon 7750 1gb - $120
WD 250gb - $75
Raidmax 630w - $50
Asus Mobo - $125

Grand Total $611 + tax and shipping.
Doesn't include case/fans/monitor/mouse/anything else.
Should run new games nicely at 900p, at 1080p you'll probably have to take down the graphics settings a bit, at 720p you might be able to run on max settings, really depends on the game etc.
But yeah there you go.

I have an Asrock A770DE+ mobo ~$50
Antec 300 case + 450w psu ~$60
Phenom II X4 975 BE OCd to 4.1ghz with stock cooler ~$150
Gigabyte HD 4850 OC'd and ram heatsinks ~$70(amazing ebay deal)
Free 500gb HD from a bro and salvaged 6gb ram and a disk drive, free

Total is ~$330. I have no problems with anything. I play at 720p.

Not really, maxing even new games out at 720p.
