Dota2 is a perfect balance between LoL and HoN.
Never played DoTA, the first one, though so idk where that one falls in.

You can compare the relationship between DotA and DotA 2/LoL/HoN the same way you compare Demons' Souls and Dark Souls.
Playing DotA after playing the other versions is like going backwards in the versions, nostalgic and fun but the fun doesn't last.

I didn't like Dota but I like Dota 2 though

I find Demon's Souls and Dark Souls to be merit-worthy individually. Each one suits my gaming needs depending on what I want. Som e days I prefer Dark, others Demon.

I played Demon's Souls and finished it before Dark Souls was out. I have accomplished everything I wished to in Demon's Souls.
