why would it squeek? Is it metal? If so is the metal rusty? Just put some wd40 on that nigga and you'll be fine

I'd invest in a mechanical keyboard.
Costs $80-120, best investment I ever made. Feels like I'm typing on air. You can get quiet ones or clickity clackity ones if you like the sound it makes.

I'd suggest an IBM Model M or a Filco Majestouch 2 with Cherry MX Brown switches.
