Cheat Engine

I used the Europa Univeralis III table, it worked the first time I used it but the second time I used it, I don't see any of its effects. Why? What can I do to make the cheat working again?

I am using version 5.1. of the game, and the table can work with that version of game.

Perhaps you forgot to do something? E.g opening the process with ce is a common mistake

Also, are you sure this game doesn't have any automatic updates that can mess stuff up ?

after starting the game click on the computer icon on the top left and select the process from the list and click ok

Perhaps you're enabling the cheat entries at the wrong point in time ? (e.g only enable them after the game has started. Or perhaps it actually needs to be enabled before)

with enabling I mean ticking the checkbox in front of entries with <script>
