Watched the whole thing today and loved it. I wonder if another season will come out. The way they did the end, it can go either way. You can accept it and it's irony as the end, or wait for more in depth explanations and character development(of toto in particular) in a possible second season.

If you like good anime you should check out mushi-shi, katanagatari and mononoke. If you're into fantastic stories and awesome art direction, that is.
