135mill budget, already made in excess of 300mill.
I love Peter Jackson and Weta so it was a must see.

They did it the same way they did Avatar and the cutscenes in Uncharted. Each person wearing essentially a black morph suit with the face cut out and balls colored unique to the person at different joints throughout the body. That's how all the animation is not just realistic, it's real.
