I live in Ontario, and in Ontario, the majority knows bacon is bacon, canadian bacon is called canadian bacon.
And god wat, ew, they had an option for it at the local fry truck, and it felt gross with the cheese curds.

Can you not understand what I'm saying? I am from CANADA and I'm telling you that a large part of it does not say Canadian Bacon. Bacon is Bacon and Canadian Bacon is entirely different, so we call it Canadian to keep them seperated so we don't have to explain which. Ask most Canadians for a description of bacon, they'll give you a mental image of real bacon. (I have a few friends from Alberta and Saskatchewan on Steam who answered this for me, don't know about those provinces for myself.)
Have you ever even BEEN to Canada? I'm pretty doubtful, and if you have I doubt it was a long visit.
