Hey everyone, I'm not sure who here still remembers me, but I'm sure there are some. Sitting here today, I realized that my join date was May 2007. That means I have been on and off this forum for over four years. It doesn't mean much, some of you have been here longer, but I felt like making a sentimental post for once after I realized a few things.

I joined this forum to look for hacks for AQ. (What a good use of my time), and eventually found myself in Random Spam. It was a pretty cool atmosphere, sort of an "anything goes" place of the internet. (I had not heard of /b/ at this time)

So, I started posting, and in time, grew rather fond of this place. Made some friends, raged at a lot of people. I remember I used to be a really hateful person, mocking and ridiculing anyone who disagreed with me. I was a bigot because I thought I knew everything, though I feel like it was all really silly now.

Still, the thing is, this place felt less like a forum to me. When I'd add people to MSN and we'd chat about whatever, playing Counter Strike or Team Fortress (The couple of times I did), it felt more like a social gathering place, sort of like Facebook. (Though, you can argue Facebook is just a more elaborate forum)

Four years, though. That means I joined halfway through high school. It's hard to fathom, but I was talking to you guys about my first girlfriend all the way through to my divorce. The last four years have had the most profound impact on my life, and it's just weird to think I was a part of this forum at the beginning of it.

You guys are all pretty cool. There are a few of you that are just trolls looking to post offensive things for a kick. (I expect a few of them in this thread as well) But there's a fair share of really cool people here. Simon, Ben, and Gavin for example. I've actually met Simon in real life, and eventually will meet the other two, but we still talk frequently. (Less Gavin, for some reason.) Then there's Cryoma, Redslothx, SF, and Ani (Augustine?) (I don't know if the last two are still around) people that I never really got to know well, but always have respected their opinions. Stylised who let me borrow his minecraft account (that was actually really cool of you) and GannoK who makes music I don't really care for, but I still think it's cool that he makes it. (Techno isn't normally my thing.)

Tl;dr: I've been around here a lot, and though I'm not a regular anymore, I just came to say this place has some of my best online-based memories and you guys are pretty cool.

P.s.: Other people I know: just because I didn't mention you by name doesn't mean I don't think we had good times, it didn't immediately pop into my mind.
