well I dont know if you can replace a hard drive in them, and if his was broken he wouldn't be able to get his files regardless.

But he is stupid and got talked into paying $1800 to restore all his itunes songs and essays.
How the fuck did he fry his hd anyway?
He said it was a power surge but that is bullshit because it is a laptop and as far as I know apple is pretty current on current stabilizers.
My guess is downloading random shit that says "Hey look at me I'm free you should download me".
