I do NOT recommend Bamboo. But from what I've heard and seen, Intuos is great!
Bamboo tablets are simply just too small.

| id listen to up2, since hes a good artist and i just bought mine because it was cheap. it is pretty small but it does what i got it for (little sketches and shit), but for seriousness, id say up2 is right and they are pretty small

| all the bamboo series is shit. if you cant go for an intuos then I recommend you the Genius Gpen 4500

If you're going to be drawing you need to spend at least $350 on a quality tablet, or whatever gogodr says but I don't know about that brand.
Bamboos are for casuals.
