Scary thing is, you never know for sure. But I bet you already knew that.

| In some form or shape, this might be true. I've never seen your face Aviar, so I've always been combining your being with a body similar to a stick figure, with your avatar as the head. That form of you only exists in my head. I like this thread.

I've been doing some thinking on Quantum Immortality.
So we all live forever in at least one (and actually an infinite number) of parallel universes, so we don't really have to worry about dying, do we?

Its not that hard to grasp for me, when the possibilities are infinite, all outcomes are considered. Thus, not only is it possible that you are always alive in one alternative universe, it is absolute. I dont feel theres much point hypothesizing on infinite parallel universes, since no matter what scenario one devises, its existence is assured. Logical problems only start to arise when you start to tie universes together, or speculate on scenarios that take all infinite universe into account, such as the destruction of everything at once, in which case, the immortality scenario would not only be false, but how does a infinite number of universes take into account both the scenario into which it all dies, and in which it does not (this can be solved by branching realities).
Another thing that this brings to mind is the possibility for impossibility. Are there situations where the possibility for survival is 0% even in an infinite parallel universe model?
Finally, its important to distinguish just exactly what it means to have infinite parallel universes. Does that mean that all things are necessarily possible, or that there are constants that act as restriction to possibilities among all of them? Essentially, all possibilities have a condition/constraints, and certain conditions may make that possibility impossible. Thus, if we have possibilities that contradict constants, those possibilities are impossible. To be more concrete, would the law of physics hold and be the same for all universes? If so, then any possibility which relies on the nonexistence of a law of physics would be impossible.
I do, however, suppose that this does not stand up to Quantum Theory, as I instead base it on pure probability.

I imagine aviar as someone with a sharp chin, coldish eyes. Dark hair. Not extremely white, but not handsomely tanned. Possible a scruffy beard. He's of average weight and about 6 ft 1.
But that's just me
