well i mean i've seen people going "lol at least i can get 1800 elo" and they're only like 25 to ??.

being able to stay at a decent elo is a lot different from just getting there

most people like that just get carried their first 10 or so games, aka the games they get 40ELO per game to try and place you in the proper ELO range. Really stupid way of working ELO, especially since it's soloq

I love going mid I feel like I have more control over the game.

I just started playing orianna again, but the nerf was pretty bad.

all i do instalock jihad karthus. Charge mid and scream DEATH TO THE INFIDELS while getting pentas. Also you aren't gold yet
