Being on both ends of the spectrum I can honestly say nope. I'd personally prefer home school over public, especially seeing as the public school system in my local area is absolute shit. Seriously, it's ranked one of the lowest of the state. I set my own hours, get work done when I want to, and I never have to stress over shit. Besides, it's great sending texts to my friends over AIM and having them yell at me because it went off in the middle of class. I'll never have to worry about that happening again lol

Ehh, some of them lack the 'common sense' factor when it comes to their phones or ipods.
But usually it's okay because the teachers there don't give a flying nuclear fuck about up-keeping the state standards, except for when those inspectors are walking around, then they go hard ass on everything.
It's pretty ironic because it's still terrible.

You're missing the part where he's defending being homeschooled.
@Derpy
I'm unsure here, but doesn't the public school system for your parish(or whatever you call them in your state) supply your parents with the same material being taught by the schools.
If not: You're getting a lower quality education
If so: you're a lazy ass that calls the school system shit because it's just sooo hard to wake up early and understand those "teacher" things that won't stop talking.
The only people here that homeschool do so because they would fail even the most basic classes at a local school. They also complain that regular school was "stupid."
