I used Bitdefender for a long time, it worked well until a keylogger was detected, it couldn't remove the keylogger without the password. Then I restored my PC which was really complicated, so I wanted to try some other softwares to protect my computer, here are some softwares I searched on google.Kaspersky, Norton Security. Which one is better? What about its price? Any information will be thanked.

I wouldn't use either of them - there are plenty of free ones out there.

I personally use MSE and a bit of common sense.

Honestly you don't need an antivirus; you only need a brain. Always keep all of your software up-to-date and never download anything you don't fully trust.

I haven't had an antivirus in a while and I'm still not infected with anything. You can also use programs that show more details about the current running processes than the TM does which is helpful just-in-case you're unsure or want to see what's going on.

Also, if you have enough money I'd suggest buying a Mac--inb4MacsuckscuzIcan'taffordone.

If all you do is browse the web and what-not, try out a *nix distro. There is is also Google's OS. Remember, Windows isn't the only platform.

Comodo Internet Security is currently the most trusted free anti-vulnerability software out there--my opinion and the generally accepted opinion of many other forums.

On the other hand, if you would like to keep hackers and websites from tracing you through your IP then look into VPN. Just type it into Google. VPN is much like proxies except...I don't know--it works for you both inside and outside of the web browser.

I use ESET NOD32 and have used smart security 4 they are both great. Also, Norton has been crap for a while in my opinion. I'd go with Kaspersky, great anti-virus.

Common sense; don't download things you don't need/trust. Virus scanners are just resource hogs that are unneeded as long as you aren't stupid and don't click everything you see on the net.

I use both Norton and Avast! (on separate PC's).
And sometimes I don't, on Linux systems Very Happy.

Use a virtual pc to test every program you download is the best way to defend your computer. All anti virus software is useless junk.

On my linux partition nothing, on my Windows partition I use Bullguard v8.7 Gamers edition.

Also on windows just incase I do get infected I use Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware.

And obviously common sense on both partitions.

I don't use an antivirus. I protect myself by using the Sysinternals Suite, though.
