| I'm pretty sure it has been renamed to "climate change" because of the substantial evidence that the Earth has been warming and cooling in cycles for a long time, and it's not particularly special that the temperature is changing now. There is no doubt, however, that humans contribute at least somewhat to the "greenhouse effect" that is trapping heat in the atmosphere, the extent of which is the subject of many currently on-going debates. |

Seemed like it had just dropped off the radar suddenly. I guess the fact that most people didn't even notice is just a testament to how easy it is to manipulate human attention. An entire topic can be dropped as long as you give them a new shiny scandal to temporarily divert their attention. By the time its over, they dont even remember that the topic had existed unless its bought up again.
