@OP, looks like any other minecraft world
@Aviar, all MC worlds have a lot more water now. World generation is done completely differently, and now entire oceans are generated, instead of the whole world being a clusterfuck of lake-land.
Well, I shouldn't say they have more water, it's just that the world is now organized into oceans and continents.

are the worlds actually made like earth now? so say if you went far enough in one direction you could end up back where you started? or is it still infinite?

You see, I didn't know that. I thought I just got insanely lucky and didn't get a fucking shithole map like I usually do. I suppose you no longer get shithole maps. That's actually very nice.

The curved world wasn't linked to the separation of landmasses. It was a separate thought, and one I had myself.
