I have like 200+ games that I've purchased. 100 or so solid copies.

You know the reason PC's getting neglected is because of this, right?

All those Xbox and PS fanboys are getting their way because the games are actually getting bought.

Quit living in your mothers womb and grow up. Want to relax with a game? Buy it.

Sure it's just not accessibility? I mean, for anyone who knows anything about computers, it's not hard to do pc gaming. But what about the much MUCH larger amount of people that don't know anything about pc gaming? If you walked up to them and said something along the line of "no seriously, it's easy, all you have to do is shell out 600+ dollars for 8-10 pieces of a computer, wait for them to get shipped to your house, then build it, then install windows" They would look at you like you're crazy. They'd much rather pay, what is it now, $250 for either a 360 or ps3 and not have to worry about shit. It plugs into their tv so no need to buy a monitor, has a controller so no need to buy mouse and keyboard, new games cost the same initially(PC wins in sales down the line with steam).

You can see what I'm getting at. I'm aware pirating is a problem, but it's not the main problem. It's just everyone either doesn't want to pay money to build a comp or learn HOW to build one in the first place. The entire thing is too daunting for them. So more consoles are being bought than computers, so why would a dev go through the trouble and cost of developing for PC when they could just make a wii port or something similar.

Also not defending piracy in any way, I know it's bad, it just seems your view on PC neglect is a bit skewed.

My roommates:
Buy music on itunes.
Buy xbox games at gamestop.
Actually not anymore, Gears 2 apparently is all they needed between 2 years ago and now that Gears 3 is coming.
Oh and GTA4, they play that shitloads too.
Their concept of PC gaming is Spore, something only played on a computer because it's not on xbox.
THEY KNOW NOTHING OF PIRACY OR PC GAMING.
I dare not explain anything because they either won't listen or will become totally engulfed in this new world but need my help every 5 minutes.

That might also be a part of it, but the recent tendens is the focus on anti-virtual theft. Which is near impossible on PC, while oh so easy on the consoles. Companies won't go near a market they know they'll pull a loss out of.

True, It's probably a 50/50 toss up between piracy and accessibility

Accessibility is the consumer portion, piracy is the provider portion.
