Anyone with an acoustic guitar. Starting from thickest string, tune G,B,D,G,B,D


Arpeggiate first 3 or 2nd 3 strings while changing position on the D string of that group.

I'll assume you mean tune it up to G. Why not just capo it?

Not a fan of capos and I don't have one. It was also done to mimic Russian 7 string guitar tuning.

I'd imagine capoing would also cut down on the range.


And after looking at it, If I would capo that lower string to a G, my tuning would be G,C,F,A#,D,G

I was speaking of partial capos to cut down on the tuning. As for the limited range, how often do you use up to the 20th fret anyways?

I meant lower range, especially on the thinnest string.

Also, I've never heard of a partial capo, I'll have to google that later.
