..in Computer Science and Minor in a language (if possible).
If I can, should I go for German or Russian, which are the only 2 languages offered where I plan on attending, I think.
I love the sound of Russian, but learning a new writing system is a bitch. Anyone learn any of those 2 languages and can give advice.
I'll start teaching myself a bit of whichever one.

Why a language minor? Math is a much more useful minor, especially in CS.

The way the schedule system works where I'm going allows more classes to be taken due to it being on a Quarter system.
By "if possible" I mean in addition to the supporting classes of my Major.
You basically have a Major, a Support Area, and a Minor. I obviously can't take the language as a support area(which is like a minor) but I might for the minor.
Let me look for my schedule.

If I understood my friend correctly, that Minor/Support Area is just a Support Area for CS, and you can take a separate minor in addition.
I may be wrong though.
EDIT:
"After requirements for
a minor have been met, the balance of the minor / support area courses can be chosen from
science, math, engineering, computer science, or approved business courses"
Well crap. I doubt languages fall under business so oh well. I'll just teach myself German or Polish.

I started learning a bit of polish back in summer actually.
I like the sound of it and the writing system is pretty simple, not many changes.
Since I probably can't take one in college, I'll just get back into polish.

Polish is a nationality, not a language.
I'm majoring in comp sci and probably not minoring but if I do it will be language as well.
Either English or Japanese, I don't give a fuck.
What are minors for anyway?
