Got rid of my wildfire, which I rooted and had custom firmware installed and overclocked, and upgraded it for a Samsung Galaxy S, 2 months before the SII came out.

Have rooted the SGS and an uprated Kernel, runs alot smoother, Still on 2.2.1, tried 2.3 but wasn't keen on it and most apps I use didn't work on it.

Samsung Galaxy S, running Android 2.3.3. I haven't really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like costum ROMs, but I'll see what the future brings.

At least it's proven to be a solid phone, never had any trouble with it, ever since I got it, a little over 10 months ago. I was just in time to get unlimited (fair use policy but care) internet access with it as well. A few months later, all contracts came with data limits of ~1GB.

It's supposed to be a 'Hero G9', though it doesn't say this anywhere.
Came in a plain brown box with nothing on it.
