Bored/need money so I have decided that I'm going to look for a part time job. Tomorrow I'll be going into places and asking if they have any jobs going. Now, I'm not too sure how to go about this. Do I ask to speak to the manager, ask someone who is on a till or something?

First print out a few copies of your curriculum vitae, and ask any employer there you want to apply for a job. In most cases the manager/boss won't be there or will be busy, so you just give them a copy and they'll hand it over to him/her, who will contact you (or not).

Also, I'm gong with a friend. Next to him I am the more attractive person to hire (More experience, more confidant etc). Will bringing him be a problem at all?

A CV for a parttime job? nigga u crazy. Nobody needs a CV to flip a burger, deliver mail, work in some store or supermarket.
Just enter the store and ask to some random eployee if you can work there. They usually send you to the right person for it, or give you some paper you need to fill in.

Nope, a cv is about past work experience. Since most of us don't have that many work experience it's useless to hand over an empty cv.
