It's not good but it's not bad either. If some new games lag I'd suggest an upgrade (depending what CPU you have)

Also nice monitor, I have the same one ;>

It's decent, but with the 69XX series out, the 4XXX series is pretty outdated

doesn't matter if it's junk. depends what you need it for. if you're not having problems with it then no need to upgrade

You shouldn't lag in A.V.A. I have a ATI Radeon 1300X/1550X, just tone down your settings

www.newegg.com

and look for deals on the ATI 69xx series

I have the 6990 and it runs EVERYTHING I tried (including the newest games) on MAX meaning EVERYTHING JUST MAXED out.

If you think that you want more graphics power, the radeon 6770 or 6790 would be a good upgrade, and most importantly, they don't use dramatically more power than the 4670 so you probably won't need to upgrade your power supply. The 6990 is great until you consider that it costs $700 and GUZZLES power. Anyone with a 4670 now very unlikely has the case/psu to accommodate such a high end card.

Your card is fine, it just won't play any new generation games @60FPS or higher. I had to replace my ATI HD Radeon 4870 with a nVidia GTX 480 just to play Battlefield 2 Bad Company @+60FPS.

Look into the requirements for new generation video games if that is what you plan to use the GPU for.

Two options:

1. ATI HD Radeon +5000
2. nVidia GTX +400

Important factors in GPU is the Core Clock Mhz and the Memory Clock Mhz. The higher the clocks, the stronger the card.
