hi, would like to ask, what does the number of threads option in the pointer scanner means?

The number of cpus that are calculating pointer paths.
More is better, but remember that a hyperhtreaded cpu is only 10% of a real cpu, so if you have 2 cores with hyperthreadign (4 cpu's, then pick at most 3) so you have a bit left for mousemovements and internet browsing

Some games use more than one CPU to operate. Look into that when you have the chance.
