Dedicate more ram. I have 6 GB dedicated to Java when I run MC.

Get more RAM? 1GB isn't gonna do well with Java.
Try setting all of the display settings in MC to the lowest possible (like fog and stuff).

Did that, I can't get more ram because there are no computer shops around here, only best buy and costco, which both sell prebuilds and not parts. |
