well i hurr'd and installing grub onto windows partition. cant boot that now. i got a recover disk, try booting from that. bootmgr is missing. from startup recovery. ohfuck
suggest what to do, as reformatting with almost 1TB of files isnt much of an option

Use live CD, do repair install, or use Hirens Boot and use some repair utilities. Also strange, I thought Grub could handle booting Windows.

tried previously to no luck. will try again though... ive got about 5 disks of ubcd laying around lol

P.S.: Normally its an MBR problem so you can fix it quickly enough, but when shit starts missing, its probably best to repair install.

repair disk has no bootmgr. thats the issue. and its because i isntalled grub over my windows drive
