Some weird virus I have that sometimes redirects my searches to a blank page with goingonearth.com in the url. Tried scanning with malwarebytes and it didn't fix the problem. Anyone have another solution?

According to this it's a simple redirector. Most likely if it hasn't hooked into Explorer itself it's a simple BHO (Browser Helper Object) download BHODemon will list your BHO's and allow you to remove undesired ones. http://majorgeeks.com/BHODemon_d3550.html

I downloaded BHO and disabled everything and it still doesn't help with the random redirects. I've scanned with Malwarebytes, read somewhere that flushing the DNS helps and tried that, tried several other things and this thing is just persistent. Seems a lot of others have it too but can't get rid of it.

Yeah, hosts is fine. I'll try ComboFix right now.
All browsers except Opera are effected.

Yeah. I believe ComboFix fixed it. I can now google search 'goingonearth' whereas before it would redirect me to a MSDN Troubleshooting site. I hope this isn't temporary, but right now the problem is gone.
Thanks again for your help.
