Hi i am new at Cheat Engine and i need some help with it
The game i am hacking has some like this you have 1000 exp and lets say you get 200 exp it then gets 700 exp to reach the next level
The problem is i cant figure out how to bring out that 700 exp to 1 exp via cheat engine
I can only hack things which increase like lets say you have 1000 exp and get 200 exp and then it becomes 1200 then i use the exact value function of CE and hack it with success
I am really noob at these things and my english is really bad for example i could not even understand the xyz why is your name here thread?

And also i remember doing the ce tutorial in the very first tutorial you could find the decreased value but why cant i find it when with exp was doing some thing like this but i cant do it why

| The "exp to next level" value is probably passive so changing it wouldn't do anything. Try changing the amount of exp you have in total, like if you have 1000 scan for that, get 200 more and scan for increased, then change to 5000.

er do you mean like get 1000 exp scan and then use the increase value by function and put 200 there
or get 1000 exp and scan and get 200 exp exact scan and put 1200 there?

He means:
Scan your current exp, gain exp, scan again, gain exp, scan again, repeat until you've found the address for your current exp - then modify that so you're at say 1999/2000 exp. (modifying it to 2000/2000 might not trigger the level up function)

Going along with this, you can also edit the exp gained function to alter the amount of exp you are gaining to match what you need to reach the next level. Such as:
1900/2000
Kill something that earns you 50 exp, have it check your current and needed exp and alter the amount earned to equal (needed - current) rather then just 50.

Sorry i am having trouble understanding
Did you mean lets say i have 1000 current exp and put it in scan and then i get say 400
Do i scan 1000 again or 1400
the 1000 exp scan is not given the thing given is only the exp points needed to reach the next level
how to find the values of such scans?
