Cheat Engine

I have some questions, my friend just bought an R4i but it doesn't work on his DSi, I've tried multiple firmwares but it only brings up the same Error Occured screen every time. So I assume that the R4i no longer works or that it's a fake and doesn't work. So I'm wondering that would the AceKard2i work? What firmware would I have to get?

R4i is horrible, and there are a LOT of clones for it. I just bought an Acekard 2i for $18 (Shipping and insurance included), so if you wait a week I'll tell you about it, maybe even link you the page if you want. It's firmware is currently 1.8.7. But perhaps you're running firmware 1.4.3U on your DSi; no flashcards support that at the moment, to my knowledge, anyways.

I'd have to check the firmware on my friends DSi, and if you know, whats the highest firmware version the AK2i will work on?
