A 10 dollar one from walmart. Gaming on the other hand is a different story. If you just want to type you don't need anything special.

I own a "Logitech Internet Pro Desktop"
it was a good keyboard.. but now i am going to change it.. I was planning to get Microsoft one.. Das keyboard looks ugly.

I beg your pardon, but Das keyboards are some of the better keyboards on the market, appealing to enthusiasts.

By your previous statement though, I assume you don't really have much taste in computer hardware. Like Hero said, a $10 keyboard will suit you fine. Use a towel for your hand-rest or something.

I will purchase a Das keyboard.. I will give mechanical keys a try.

yeah definitively mechanical keys if you want to type a lot, they reduce the stress on your hands so much

If you have the cash to burn (and lots of patience), you could try and find an IBM Model M on EBay. People swear by that particular model for productive typing. Beware though, it can be a bitch to work as you'll need special connectors and controller chips.

Other mechanical keyboards include Filcos, Happy Hacking Keyboards (one of the best) and Ducky brands. I recommend going on geekhack for more info.
