I am new to packets and not very experienced with Cheat Engine.
I am not looking for someone to do everything for me, I enjoy doing these things myself..
However I have run into a rather annoying problem with my first time messing with Packets..
I ran into this problem last night and in my free time since then have been searching and searching for a solution..
After spending hours learning how to use WPE PRO I became able to finally begin packet sniffing in a game.
I'm not sure if other games are like this but in some areas there seems to be hundreds of packets per few seconds... It was overwhelming.
After finding a spot where data seemed less active I finally believe I pinpointed the packet I want.. (an X, Y packet I believe)..
However when I do any sort of injection what so ever there is an Error.
I have no problem connecting to the server (Or so WPE says), but even when I feed the exact packet I sniffed back in, it comes up with an Error.
Recently I realized it could be a problem with the Open Socket ID, I'm not sure exactly how that works..
I believe it gives the packet you're sending the correct location of where to go.
Trying to provide as much information as I can, and any insight would be appreciated!
Recap: I think I found the right packet, but after editing and injecting I receive an error count, yet it supposedly connects successfully.
Edit: I've found out something else that's odd.
When I play my packet to the server it always says the connection is open regardless of what I put in as the Open Socket ID, and it always Errors..
Anyone have some ideas?
Thanks.

Could be a checksum..
I think, if I'm looking at it correctly, the hex code for one skill has some different values each time while some of them are the same each time.
This could mean the values that are changing are the checksums, however some of the values only change some of the time..
Unfortunately I know very little about checksums and how I would go about bypassing them..
I've looked at some explanations/guides but all of the people who have written them don't have great english.
I'm also new to these things however I enjoy messing around with them..
But it's different when I'm stumped and the hours upon hours that I've spent with one particular problem don't bare any fruit.
Thanks.
