Ok I have a partition where I keep my music, and porn to get jokes aside. Its about 100gb partition. I found an old sata laptop HDD thats about 320gb. I was wondering what the process looks like to transfer it over without an issue. My main thing is, my itunes looks to this partition for my music. Is there a way to transfer it and not screw up my itunes?

Just copy and paste, unless you have programs then you will need a software to help you like Norton Ghost

Yep copy n paste. If all you have is music and some vids there, you should be able to respecify what drive the data is on in iTunes without a 3rd party app or having to have iTunes rescan the drive.
You don't really need to fiddle with moving the whole partition.

if you need to assign a different letter to your volume:
start> run> "compmgmt.msc"
Under "Storage", go to Disk Management
right click the volume, click "Change Drive Letter and Paths"
Click the Change button.
Select a new letter and hit OK.
There.

..And to clarify, the reason to do this is so you don't have to re-specify where programs should search for your music etc (e.g itunes)
