4.0 and higher is possible. Though you'll be voltaging close to 1.5V

| try 4.0. Probably higher. Its a BE so the multiplier is unlocked. You can push the multiplier and the FSB and get a crazy clock speed.

| I haven't gotten mine to stay stable at 4. I've gotten 3.8 and some change but I hit a volt wall I wasn't going to pass.

| did you only increase multiplier? If you increased the FSB make sure you losen the ram because that OC's too. Get a guide on ram overclocking.

| When I OC I just do multiplier until everything stops working then start messing with the HT and RAM. Bad thing is that I have a shitty motherboard so my NB chip heats up super fast because the heatsink is shit.

| Yeah. I rigged up a fan to blow on it along with the 4 fans already blowing on it and positioned my RAM cooler to blow on it as well, but it still gets fairly hot. After doing all that I decided to stick with the 3.8Ghz.

| Hmm, not much you can do then. The NB chip shouldn't heat all that much if its not doing anything heavy. Is it getting eay hot in the bios or at windows?
