|
|
So I found a workign pointer to a game called 'Everybody Edits', it's a simple game without any protection. (A good place for a begginer to start I reckon).. Well anyway, when I try to start my script, nothing happens.
It's a pointer and I try to change the AoB of the adress which the pointer is pointing at.
Here is the script:
| Code: |
[ENABLE]
[[[[[["xul.dll"+00CA85D8]+73C]+7C0]+64]+60]+48]: //00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 55 46 05
db 01
[DISABLE]
[[[[[["xul.dll"+00CA85D8]+73C]+7C0]+64]+60]+48]:
db 00
|
So, what I'm trying to do is with the pointer (xul.dll) is to change the first byte to 01, but this wont work.
This work if I only take the adress that it's pointing at, but then I have to re-do the script everytime I restart the game, which is a pain!
So, how do I do this with a pointer?
Thanks in advance.

assuming the pointer is valid
does the pointer end with a offset 0 ?
if not, try
[[[[["xul.dll"+00CA85D8]+73C]+7C0]+64]+60]+48:
