Cheat Engine

Hi I want to use Cheat Engine to do a number of things but not sure if Cheat Engine is powerful enough to do these things or not.

To disable or hide any component on screen, i.e. players, gauge bars, text, sparks.....etc.

To freeze a player's x and/or y position (moving and jumping show animations but no position changes).

To alter a background i.e. scaling an area of the background to very large to produce a single color.

I want to learn Cheat Engine but I need to know its possibility first....
