itt slugsnack shits into his hand and flings it at everyone.
I never really knew you but I can see now why everyone dislikes you.
I never said I was developing for firmware or making an os, I just said you can compile apps cross platform, which you can, so stop taking my molehill and pretending it's a mountain which is halfway across the world.

hold on. let's not forget that you're the one who came into my yard (thread) and took a dump in it. you came in here pretending you knew all this shit saying:

Cryoma wrote:
you don't even need hackintosh or anything, you can just develop whatever the fuck you want on windows/linux.
I made some ios apps on windows 7.
I mean after all it doesn't make a difference what operating system you're using to type code, and the compilers are cross-platform.

right so i go and buy an imac for development which is what i do for a fucking living. but obviously i'm some sort of noobshit faggot because you jump in (clearly not knowing anything), tell me i don't know what i'm talking about, then attempt to educate me ?

now you didn't just say you can compile very basic, lightweight shit with your method. nope you challenged me, essentially telling me my choice is retarded and the logic behind making it, unfounded. well next time you pull shit out of your ass, don't be surprised when it hits you back in the face.

oh yes, i'm pretty sure developing 'whatever the fuck you want' encompasses firmware and making an os. so yes, you did say that.

You told Cryoma to educate you, then he refused, then you kept bitching. I don't understand your rage sometimes.

Slugsnack, just curious, why buy more than one if it's for development sake?

We own quite a few properties in London and there are 3 which I frequent for various reasons. They all currently have computer systems but it'll be good to get rid of all the clutter and replace with iMacs. 2 of the systems will be set up as dev machines ( each will be triple screen config with the 27" iMac + 2 24" monitors )and the 3rd is for entertainment and casual browsing ( probably gonna dump 2 21.5" monitors for it ), etc. which will be used possibly my brothers and sisters if they go up but I use that place quite a lot to crash with my close friends after clubbing or nights out, etc.

So explain why you bought macs at $1700 or $2000 each and not equivalent hardware at $900 each?

because i am intending to do serious ios development with xcode and make more money. this can't be done with your $900 boxes without a shitload of hassle with things like hackintosh. spending $8k or so is a price i'm more than happy to pay to rid myself of that hassle and stress

see ? my explanations actually make sense because they passed through my brain, not my rectum

First of all lol at that last bit cause it's actually true in this case.
Second, I'm sure a strapping and intelligent young coder such as yourself is aware that a $900 custom build running or vm'ng OSX would be just as hassle free as the real thing.
