I had a hard time enjoying it either way, there. |
Low levels are mostly smurfs these days. It's really stupid. You have to pick the game up fairly quickly if you want any chance of progressing steadily, which is annoying since the learning curve for all of the things that you need to be good at LoL is quite high IMO (builds, play style, character knowledge, map awareness, etc). I'd recommend sticking it out, though. It's the only game in the last 4 years to catch my attention to for a seriously extended period of time. |

just because its a competitive game doesn't mean you have to take it seriously. you can play the game and still have fun with little knowledge, and thats all that matters.
and anyways, if you're good at the game you won't need extensive knowledge, youll just need to know what to do and when to do it. no one should have to learn every character in the game, and every build for them. |

LoL has a very low skill cap tbh compared to its precedors Dota and HoN. LoL is more about teamwork and rewards you much more for things like killing your enemies and controlling dragon/baron. It also doesn't punish you as hard for things like dying and not last hitting. |
